Sacred Journey to Peru - April 14-24, 2010


Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Sacred Journey to Peru 2010.

We will start our journey in Cusco known as the "navel" of this sacred area, where we will rest and prepare for our 'walking tour' in the city. During the 10-day tour, we will make our way by train to Machu Picchu, staying overnight in Aguas Callientes, and soak in the therapeutic mineral pools.
On arrival our guide will bring us to the sacred grounds of Machu Picchu where he will explain the dwelling places and what ceremonies/rituals were performed at certain times of the year, and for what possible reasons these ancient peoples gathered in this area.
Our second day in Machu Picchu, will be enjoyed for free exploration to reunite in certain areas to explore and perhaps climb Wayna Picchu. We will participate in a special meditation and a soul retrieval. More information will be provided upon registration.

Journey to Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, Peru April 14-24, 2010

Join us for a special event in Sacred Valley to see the Temples of Cusco, Pisac and Machu Picchu. We will have plenty of time to explore the ruins on our own, have a tour guide on the first day we arrive in Machu Picchu and connection with nature in our own way. Also, you will experience soul journeys and a Soul Retrieval while on the sacred grounds of Machu Picchu. You will have the opportunity to climb Wayna Picchu to its apex.

Anyone who desires to partake in this journey should prepare yourself in BODY, MIND and SPIRIT. In Body… Strengthen your body for daily hikes and walking activities. Our guide and Shaman Jorge Luis Delgado, is preparing a very special teaching that we can utilize in our shamanic work. Native American teachings include "Pipe Carriers" who serve as a conduit for communing with the ancestors, great ones, Spirit guides, and elemental forces of nature for healing and prayer through ceremonies to bring about change for individuals as well as the community at large.

Jorge will teach us the ways of the ancient ones and initiate us through the Andean teachings to prepare us to serve as a "Mesa Carrier" not so different from the intercession intended by a "Pipe Carrier".

I have found journeys to Peru to be extensional in my awareness for peace, harmony, love and oneness… Being in the presence of the Almighty wherever I am, and living in the present moment. Itinerary - Sacred Journey to Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, Peru April 14-24, 2010

ITINERARY for Nancy Kimes Peru Tour 2010:

10 days in Cusco and the Sacred Valley, April 14-24, 2010:

Day 1 April 14 - Arrival in Lima. Transfer to hotel, overnight in Lima

Day 2 April 15 - Fly Lima to Cusco... Time to adjust to the altitude (11,000 ft.)
p.m. walking tour...

Day 3 April 16 - A.M. Chinchero, P.M. Pisac, then return to Cusco

Day 4 April 17 - Journey to Ollantaytambo & Moray to visit and learn about the crop circles.
Overnight in Sacred Valley.
Day 5 April 18 - Spend the day in Pisac climbing the mountain to the tower,
passing through a rock cavity where we will do a release & rebirth ceremony
and exiting the cavern in a regenerative new you - body, mind, and spirit.
Shop at the open market in Pisac.
Day 6 April 19 - Travel by train to Machu Picchu, visit the sacred grounds.
Stay overnight in Aguas Callientes

Day 7 April 20 - Return to Machu Picchu for the day where Nancy will conduct a
soul meditation and soul retrieval.
We will have free time to climb Wayna Picchu for those who wish to.
Day 8 April 21 - Leisure time for shopping (large open market) and quaint shops and restaurants
along the cobblestone streets. You may return to Machu Picchu or soak in the theraputic mineral
pools once more before our departure to Cusco in the afternoon. (Third entry to Machu Picchu at your own expense)

Day 9 April 22 - Full day in the foothills of Cusco to visit altars and sacred temples in Kusillochayoc,
Temple of the Heart, Temple of the Moon, Tamboymachay, Sacayhuaman, Qenko, and Puca Pukara.

Day 10 May 20 - Leisure time in Cusco for shopping and viewing the beautiful amber lights of the city in the evening.

Day 11 May 21 - Fly to Lima, stay in a day room in Mira Flores. Visit indian markets, then connect
with international flights in late evening, (OR begin the tour to Lake Titicaca - 6 days extension). Depart from Cusco.

The above itinerary includes:

This itinerary covers breakfasts only. It also covers tranportation in Cusco and surrounding cities
including train pass, accommodations, (2) days entrance to Machu Picchu and the other sacred sites mentioned.

What is not included?

This journey DOES NOT cover international flights, airport taxes, tips for the shaman and/or assistants, tips for transporation (drivers), bottled water, snacks, alcoholic drinks, beverages, gift items and other expenses for personal use, nor does it cover single supplement accommodations, insurance, etc.
You will be provided with a list of essential information for your journey on receipt of your
registration form and deposit.

You will be reserving your international flight tickets. I will provide information to my contact person in Peru to arrange round trip flights from Lima to Cusco.
